Hi!

The weeks just keep on flying by. We had a good week, there were lots of appointments and plans that we had which fell through all week which was tough but we still had some great lessons. Right now we are focusing on the recent converts of San Isidro, the area wants us to focus on them so we can help them get to the temple and be continually active. We also are teaching several new people this week. There are also members here that are helping us teach their friends. One of my favorite people are Miguel and Benjamin, they have been bringing their friend Thiago to church for the past couple of weeks and this week we were able to teach him with Miguel and Benjamin and it was awesome. He’s already read a lot of the Book of Mormon, so hopefully we can have more lessons with him and put him on date for baptism.

Besides that we did our best to work hard even in the midst of challenges. This week I ran into an old mission friend, Elder Gonzalez. Right now he’s going to school and working, and it was super cool to see him. He even went on a few lessons with us and it was super fun. It reminded me of when Alma and the sons of Mosiah had a reunion after their missions:

16 And it came to pass that as Ammon was going forth into the land, that he and his brethren met Alma, over in the place of which has been spoken; and behold, this was a joyful meeting.

17 Now the joy of Ammon was so great even that he was full; yea, he was swallowed up in the joy of his God, even to the exhausting of his strength; and he fell again to the earth.

18 Now was not this exceeding joy? Behold, this is joy which none receiveth save it be the truly penitent and humble seeker of happiness.

Even though my mission is coming to an end, I am excited to have these sort of reunions, and I am so grateful for the time that I have had while here in the mission. It’s important that we are like Alma and his bros, who receive this joy by being a “penitent and humble seeker of happiness”. I invite all of you to look for this joy.

That’s it from me, have a good week!
