¿Hola como están?

This week we had a good time, we found out at the end of P-Day last week that Elder Montero will be going to a different area. Paraguayan missionaries are starting to go to their original assignments and that has left the mission with some holes in the companionships, so Elder Montero had to go to fill those holes. So the week went by very quickly with Elder Muñoz and I working hard to help our friends progress. It was a bit colder this week which made it more difficult to work due to everyone staying bundled up inside but we were still able to be out on the streets inviting others to come unto Christ.

We are once again entering that time of the year where people start putting shirts on their dogs!

On Friday I was able to do divisions with an Elder in our district, Elder Gonzalez. He is from Uruguay and he got to Paraguay only a couple of weeks ago! When you work with a brand new missionary you are able to gain a much broader perspective of the work you are doing. When I was with Elder Gonzalez, I found myself being very grateful for my trainer and how he helped me at the beginning of my mission. I loved seeing him learn how to grow as a missionary and it was an awesome day where we taught lots of lessons. Only problem was that night we woke up and found our bedroom to be full of water again. Only this time when we threw all the water out, after a few hours it came back again. Turns out we most likely have a leak and until it gets fixed we will most likely be throwing out the water over and over again. But besides that minor inconvenience the week was awesome.

On Saturday and Sunday we spent time as a district watching General Conference together. It was spectacular. I loved the focus that was put on missionary service. I especially enjoyed the talk by Elder Aidukaitis. This is one of the quotes that stood out to me:

“My mission completely shaped my life. I learned it is worth the effort to trust in God, to trust in His wisdom and mercy and in His promises.”

When I heard this I thought back to how far I’ve gone on my mission so far, and thought of the blessings I have seen. This mission has been the greatest experience of my life. I know that I will be prepared for anything in the future, and I am glad that I had this opportunity, and especially glad that I have 4 more months to work here! I invite all of you to involve yourselves in the Lord’s work to gather Israel, and I know if you do so you will ‘Lift Up Your Heart And Rejoice’, while being blessed by the Lord and blessing others.

That’s it from me, until next week! Elder Watson

So, "FreeFire" is a crappy mobile game that people play on their phones and is SUPER popular in South America. Nobody really cares about copyright infringement so they just put whatever logo or symbol they feel like to advertise their burger joint or whatever. I just thought it was nonsensical and funny so I took a picture.
