Howdy!
This week we were really busy with service, teaching, planning, meetings, finding, and all the things that missionaries do. This week we found a guy who is from Brazil! He received a Book of Mormon from the missionaries in Ciudad del Este and had a lot of questions about the Book of Mormon and the church. It was really cool to listen to his Spanish and Portuguese. It made me grateful that I got to learn Spanish and not Portuguese. We also taught a friend of a member and she came to church on Sunday, so we have lots of potential that we are going to be working towards in this area. The weather is also cooling off, so things just keep on getting better.

Sunday night at about 10:27 we receive news about our transfers. Elder Orr is gonna be going down to Encarnacion, and I’ll be staying here in Ypane and will be receiving two missionaries, who are both from Chile. When I heard that, I was really surprised because our apartment is tiny, and I don’t know how we are going to fit 2 more Elders here. It’s gonna be an interesting experience, I haven’t been in a trio since Ohio. D&C 6:36 says, “Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.” I think I’ll have to rely on this scripture a lot in the coming weeks but I know that it will help me keep my focus on the Lord. I invite you all to apply this council as well, that in the face of adversity you can look unto the Lord instead of your doubts.
That’s it from me, I hope you all have a good week!
Elder Watson
