This week, ALL the trees here in Ohio have changed their colors from green to yellow, red, and orange. I have included some of the pictures of the landscapes which show all the trees. In Utah, you only really see the vibrant colors in the mountains, but here its EVERYWHERE. Only problems is that the leaves only last for a couple of weeks, and soon they are going to be empty, and snow will begin to fall. Soon the vibrant colors will be replaced with white and brown… I don’t think I’m very fond of winter.

This week for district council we drove down to Columbus and had interviews with President Horgesheimer. He is super awesome and I am way excited to continue serving my mission here under his leadership. We are continuing to do lots of work over technology, as we still cannot do ANY contacting outside. It’s fine though, we still keep ourselves busy teaching members and helping them be missionaries in their lives.

During my personal studies this week, I decided to devote 15 minutes a day to reading the old testament. I never thought reading one book of scripture would help strengthen my testimony of another one, but that’s what the old testament has done! After reading lots of begats, temple building instructions, and the lord speaking unto Moses, it made me realize how grateful I am for the plain and precious teachings in the Book of Mormon. How wondrous it is to have modern scripture that sets forth plain doctrine and is very applicable to our lives today. The Book of Mormon truly is the word of God, and I’ve seen that in my life and others lives while here on the mission.
Stay safe, and know that I love you all.
