Haupei!

We spent a lot of time this week trying to track down the abundance of part member families that are here in Ypané. Elder Orr and I made the game plan where we would first focus on the part-member families, ministering to the inactive members, and then finally working the streets to find new people to teach on top of that. We put that into action this week and found a good amount of success. On Friday we had a little council with our Zone Leaders who had just had a mission leadership conference, and they told us that President’s vision for the mission is that we focus on the part-member families, the inactives, and effectively contacting the streets. It was a pretty cool moment seeing that what Elder Orr and I had already planned was where President wants his efforts focused so we know that we are using our time wisely.

After the sacrament meeting on Sunday we had a great lesson in Elders Quorum. We studied the talk “Hold Up Your Light”, given by Elder Marcus B. Nash during the most recent general conference. They discussed the missionary work here in Ypané and talked about the small ways in which they could share the gospel. It was great to see, and I know that as the members get more involved in missionary work we will continue to see more and more success and be able to help others come unto Christ. I hope you can all find small ways to spread the gospel this week!

That’s it from me, talk to you all next week!
