Howdy!

This was the fastest first week of a transfer that I have had on my mission. It has also been the hottest week of my mission so far. The minute I step out of an air-conditioned room I start sweating, so you can imagine what it’s like in the middle of the day when we are on the street working. Even though it is difficult it’s actually a blessing in disguise. People are much more likely to invite us into their homes to cool down for a minute when they see that we are sweating and without cold water. We have a pretty big teaching pool at the moment as well, the only problem is that we are having problems with helping them progress. That’s our goal for this coming week is to help all of our friends keep their commitments so that they can eventually progress to be baptized.

Weird to think that it’s already Christmas. A year ago I was in the cold Ohio winter, trying my best to stay sane while our opportunities to work were limited. Now we are in the musty Paraguayan summer teaching a lot of people while trying to stay cool. It’s moments like this where I like to look back at the growth I have had in the past year and count my blessings. I hope you can all reflect on the blessings you have received this year in the midst of hardships so that you can always be grateful for what you have.

That’s it from me. In Ohio, I had trouble making long emails due to the lack of things happening, in Paraguay the issue is the same but the reasons are different. We do lots of work and have success but it’s the same every week. Oh well, at least I can send a lot of cool pictures at least. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
