Hola!
If I had to use one word to describe this week, it would be “tiring”. It didn’t rain once this week to cool down the environment, and we walked so much. I got here in late January last year, luckily missing the time period where it is very hot. Even with the heat, it was a really good time. We found lots of people to teach this week, and we are getting prepared for the baptism of Antonela this Saturday. We went on exchanges this week with the Elders of Oviedo Rama 1. I went with Elder Henroid, we walked a lot that day, and the next day he got really sick, but I attached a picture of our exchange. It’s weird being in Paraguay during Christmas time because everyone puts up decorations like in the states but it’s about 100 degrees outside with no snow. Pretty fun time.
This week we taught the parable of the 10 talents to a member family. It made me reflect on my time as a missionary, as well as what I will do afterward. Are we using the talents the Lord has given us to love and bless others? Or are we hiding our talents and thus withholding the blessings we can receive? I hope you can all take the time to study Matthew 25:14-30 and reflect on these same questions.
That’s it from me, have a good week!
Elder Watson
