Hello!
It feels weird to say that I’m starting the 2nd week of my 8th transfer, time just continues to fly. We had a good time this week! We are working a lot and are finding some people to teach. We gave some Books of Mormon to a family and we are having a great time teaching them. We are also working with members a lot, which is a huge blessing. It’s just a fact that the more you work with the members the more you’ll see success and continued activity in the church. It’s so fun to see the relationships all the members have with each other, who helped who get baptized, who married who, who served a mission in what place, and all of these other relationships. They all came from members getting involved in missionary work to see their friends and loved ones receive all the blessings they have.
I always have a goal to take more pictures, because I always forget, so I included some random pictures of things in our area. I like taking pictures of the city and things like that, but sometimes I really miss being in a middle of nowhere area like Ita Paso. The views you get out there were so awesome. All of Paraguay is really pretty, and I’m really grateful to be serving here right now. Recently Brazil and Argentina played against each other in soccer, and our apartment complex is full of Brazilians, and so while we were trying to sleep they were yelling a lot and being upset about the game. Sounded a lot like when my Dad and I are watching BYU lose in football. I didn’t mind too much, things like that always make me laugh and help me love the people more.

Seeing all of these families that are blessed by the Lord has made me think back to my family. I am very grateful that my parents always had my siblings and I do family prayers, even if I may have thought then that it was annoying and bothersome. There is wisdom in the saying, “A family that prays together stays together”, as well as the Savior’s counsel in the 18th chapter of 3 Nephi:
21 Pray in your families unto the Father, always in my name, that your wives and your children may be blessed.
One of the simple things we can do in our families is pray unto the Lord together, so that we can grow in faith and love. I hope you all can always remember to say your family prayers!
Hasta la próxima semana!
